This page is the current v1 of the AI Usage Statement.

1. AI assists — it does not decide

Where the platform uses AI, it is to help you organise, draft and retrieve your own professional information more quickly. AI never finalises records, never approves content on your behalf, and never acts as a professional authority.

2. You remain responsible

Every AI-produced suggestion is presented to you for review. You decide whether to accept, edit or discard it. Nothing enters your professional record without your explicit save action.

3. No autonomous record changes

AI features do not silently create, modify or delete CPD entries, reflections, goals, evidence or portfolio items. There is no background agent updating your record on your behalf.

4. Minimum necessary data

The platform sends only the content that is necessary to fulfil the requested feature — for example, the specific document you chose to import. Broader account content is not sent.

5. Prohibited uploads

Do not upload identifiable patient information, third-party sensitive information, or any material you are not entitled to process. Content of that nature is not required for your own professional record.

6. Possible inaccuracies

AI output can be incomplete, out of date or wrong. Treat every suggestion as a draft that requires your professional review before it is saved to your record.

7. Human verification required

The platform is designed so that human review is the last step before a professional record is created or changed. This is a product principle, not a preference.

8. AI opt-in

AI features are opt-in. If you do not opt in, no content from your account is sent to any AI provider.

9. Ability to disable AI

You may disable AI features at any time from your account settings. Disabling AI removes AI affordances from the interface and stops future AI processing on your content.

10. Retention and provider handling

AI requests are handled by a small number of trusted providers under contract. Providers are asked not to use your content to train their general models. Detailed provider information is available on request.

11. Incident and reporting pathway

If you notice AI behaviour that appears unsafe, inaccurate in a harmful way, or inconsistent with this statement, please report it to hello@clinicalconfidence.com.au. Reports are reviewed by the product team.
